JURY DUTY SCAM ALERT (Nov 2023)

Prospective jurors are never contacted by email or telephone for failure to serve jury duty.

Anyone who receives an email or telephone call demanding payment or personal information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency to file a report and the Yuba County Jury Department at 530-740-1890.

Fee Schedule

Fees/fines are set by the State Legislature. Our office only collects the fees/fines as mandated by the State of California.

If you would like to complain about the fee/fine amounts, please contact your local state assemblyman or senator. Their telephone numbers are located in the State Government section of your local telephone directory
