and are charged with a felony, you are expected to appear via Zoom, unless you are in the hospital.  You should contact your attorney or the clerk’s office for the Zoom information and not miss your court date.

Making Payments

You have several options for making a payment on your case.

Your case may be eligible for installment payments without an appearance before a judicial officer. For more information you may contact the Collections Division by calling (530) 740-1830.

Pay Online

We do not charge a convenience fee for payments made through our portal.  Our website is available 24 hours a day. 

(Accounts that have been referred to the Franchise Tax Board are not eligible for payment online.)

You can pay your ticket online by clicking on button below.  You will need the following to begin the online payment process:

  • your case number
  • amount due

If you are contesting your citation, be sure to state that in the comments field when making the payment.

Traffic Citation: If you do not indicate that you want a trial or trial by declaration, the payment will be accepted as a bail forfeiture and reported to DMV accordingly.

To pay a traffic citation (bail forfeiture) you may mail your personal check or money order to:
