and are charged with a felony, you are expected to appear via Zoom, unless you are in the hospital.  You should contact your attorney or the clerk’s office for the Zoom information and not miss your court date.

    The Online Self-Help Center of the California Courts provides information on a wide range of legal matters.

  • California Law

    This State of California database provide access to all the current California laws.

  • Lawhelpcalifornia.Org

    This website provides low-income Californians with easy online access to basic legal resources and attorney information.

  • California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA)

    CRLA provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals in matters involving civil disputes, employment, housing, education, health, debt collection, landlord/tenant, Social Security disability, workers compensation, foreclosure, civil rights, and family law services including guardianship and conservatorship.  

  • California Courts Instructional Materials

    This is an Equal Access website providing instructional materials including samples that provide basic legal information and explanation about the court process in a variety of matters.  It also includes templates and sample pleadings developed by self-help centers to assist self-represented litigants in completing forms and pleadings.

  • Legal Center For Seniors

    The Legal Center provides FREE legal services and community education to Yuba and Sutter residents who are 60 and over.  They also provide assistance in SSI/ Social Security, Medi-Cal, landlord/tenant disputes, powers of attorney, elder abuse, debtor/creditor issues, and consumer/home repair fraud.

  • Casa De Esperanza

    Casa provides assistance with domestic violence orders, one-on-one counseling, shelter, and support for clients in court proceedings.

  • Small Claims Advisor

    The Small Claims Advisor gives individual assistance to litigants on small claims matters.
